  • An Assistant Fashion Designer will learn how to and assist with designs and sketches for an upcoming collection.

    Assistant Fashion Designer will work on the following:

       •    Create sketches men’s and women’s garments to prepare for production

       •    Create tests/prototypes of design pieces

       •    Create matching or aligned pieces for a collection

       •    Modifying garments using embellishments to enhance the appearance of the clothes

       •    Creating garments according to design specifications and preferences

       •    Manage all design inventory and ordering of materials

       •    Measure customers to determine desired fit

       •    Keep records of customer and garment measurements and designs

       •    Cut fabric patterns and prepare garment pieces using tools and machines

       •    Press finished garments using presses and irons

       •    Completing alterations to garments using a thread or sewing machine or by hand

    Requirements:

       •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

        •    Ability to prioritize and manage workload.

        •    Ability to produce quick turnaround time.

        •    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

        •    Strong networking skills.

  • An Editorial Coordinator Apprentice will learn how to and assist with planning and executing editorial photoshoots. They will also participate in searching and identifying models and talents for the brand.

    Editorial Coordinator will work on the following:

        •    Assist team with brainstorming shoot ideas and concepts

        •   Create moodboards for shoots, shows, and events

    •    Scout locations that align with the creative vision

        •    Contact and secure permission to shoot on location from proper owners/authorities

        •    Ensure proper communication and scheduling with the media team

        •    Provide supervision and production support of ongoing photoshoots

        •    Recruit and identify models for runway and promotional/editorial shoots

        •    Assist the seamless transition from model registration to the models walking the runway or on set for a shoot.

        •    Maintain model databases and keeping profiles updated

        •    Assist with coordinating with models for rehearsals, shoots, shows and being a liaison

    Requirements:

  •  A Fashion Logistics Assistant will learn how to manage and handle logistical work within the fashion industry as well as doing research for the brand.

    A Fashion Logistics Assistant will work on the following:

     •    Do sponsorship, marketing, and expense data research

        •    Assist in marketing development and sponsorship approach, strategy, and deal closing

        •    Collaborate with logistics and design team on production numbers, strategy, and outlook

        •    Collaborate with design team to record textiles, measurements, and designs for production

        •    Assist tailor team with design team’s recorded information

        •    Attend and take notes during weekly meetings, phone calls, and interviews

        •    Assist with ticketing, sales, and finances bookkeeping

        •    Provide team with data research changes and discoveries

        •    Transfer data among different formats for analysis purposes

        •    Prepare tables and quality graphics of statistical results for final reports and presentations

        •    Keep up with marketing, production, and accounting trends

    Requirements:

    •    Must be a current student at any institution (including night, vocational, Montessori schools, etc.)

        •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

        •    Ability to prioritize and manage workload.

  • A Legal Affairs Coordinator will learn how to manage and handle contracts and legality from an former University of Richmond professor.

    A Legal Affairs Coordinator will work on the following:

     •    Provide assistance for brand with legal matters and contracts

        •    Prepare documents for contract execution and post-execution handling

        •    Collaborate with logistics and design team on their legal and contractual needs

        •    Research sales information and contract terms

       •    Maintain highly confidential or critical information

       •    Handle the circulation of deal approval memos for executive signatures

        •    Hold meetings to inspect contracts with models, designers, sponsors, parters, etc.

        •    Provide team with data research changes and discoveries

        •    Providing guidance on any legal issues

        •    Engage and manage external counsel, where required, to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of advice/input on projects

    Requirements:

    •    Must be a University of Richmond pre-law or law student.

        •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

        •    Ability to prioritize and manage workload.

        •    Ability to produce quick turnaround time.

  • An Marketing Coordinator Apprentice will learn how to develop and execute marketing strategies. Marketing Coordinator will work on the following:

        •    Markets products by developing and implementing advertising campaigns

        •   Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data

    •    Create, edit, and post social media content

        •    Stay updated with current marketing and advertising trends

        •    Tracks product line sales and costs by analyzing and entering sales, expense, and new business data

        •    Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt

        •    Research candidates for PR packages and promotional content

        •    Assist with photoshoots, fashion show, and event concepts.

        •    Assist with coordinating with models, designers, and logistics team for marketing and promotional events

        •    Provides coordination of website usage including development, enhancement, and maintenance using web-based software tools

    Requirements:
